There are few indeed , especially those connected to any of the New Age ideas, who have not heard of the predictions and conjectures surrounding 2012. The conjectures and suppositions range from ideas of total destruction and the end of the world, to predictions for a New Dawn and a whole new Golden Age. 2012 has the undoubted potential to be the most critical year in mankind's history.
Our western culture chooses to ignore the information left to us by so many older indigenous cultures. Yet the Hopi Indians knew about the 2012 phenomenon as did the Kogis. The famous Indian Vedas hold a vast amount of information regarding this time and the previous world ages. The Mayans left us precise information cast in stone and their mathematical calculations were extremely precise. The Bible, also, is full of reference to 'the end times'.
So what is it all about ? On 21st of December 2012 on the Winter Solstice, an 'age' or cycle of 5,125 years comes to an end. At exactly the same time, we also come to the end of a greater cycle of approximately 26, 000 years and coincidentally our Sun crosses the exact centre of our Milky Way galaxy. Some also believe that we are now at a completion point of a multimillion year circular orbit of our galaxy around a central Sun called Alcione.
According to the Mayans, we have had five previous 'AGES' of 5,125 years. Each one ended in some sort of cataclysm. The Indian Vedic texts have a similar account. The knowledge that such cycles exist and what happens is known as The Doctrine of World Ages. Will this 'age' end in cataclysm ? The general consensus of predictions is that it will not. It doesn't have to. The predictions for these 'end times' have contained some stark and dark warnings of terrible things for this time. They are already happening! In such a very few years we have had worldwide financial crises, showing us that we must change how we operate. We have had tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, volcanoes and volcanic ash clouds, super hurricanes, high winds and rising seas. All of these catastrophes have been predicted by people like Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce for these times. We have had uprisings and wars here, there and everywhere. We have also had strange viruses and flu. …All predicted. And all predicted ages ago. Something, certainly, is afoot.
Gregg Braden, famous scientist, philosopher and author of many fascinating and hugely informative books (google him!) says we are coming to what he calls 'Choice Point'. One option for us is to continue on our current path of total dysfunction and ultimately to breakdown; the other path is to embrace change and choose the path of love, light, unity, truth and transformation.
In his book 'God I am', (From Tragic to Magic) Peter O Erbe writes that every 25,000 years our Solar System completes one orbit around Alcione, the Central Sun of the Pleiades. He states that in 1961, Science discovered a photon belt which encircles the Pleiades at a right angle to its orbital planes. Our Sun, and our Earth with it, is about now entering this photon belt. The photon belt, he says, is the 'trigger force' to shift Humanity to a Higher Plane. Many other teachers talk of now being the time of Ascension. To partake of this grandest of events , man must be aligned with this Photon energy.
Have you noticed how, despite all appearances and all the negative news in the media, people everywhere are waking up. More and more people are embarking upon a spiritual path. There seems to be an ever increasing divide, with the good getting 'gooder' and the bad getting 'badder'. Is that what the Biblical sheep and goats of the 'end days' is all about?
A couple of years ago, I had a very vivid vision. I saw two Earths. I saw one peeling away from the other like an etheric body separating from the physical. I have thought about this a lot and I believe that there will, indeed, be two worlds : One for those who wish to live in Peace and Harmony and one for those who enjoy living in discord and fear. Someone told me that there are two murals on the wall of the baggage hall in Denver airport. One depicts a grim scene of men with guns, people in gas masks and everyone cowering in fear. The other mural shows happy scenes of flowers, sunshine and children playing. Has someone else had this vision too ? I have talked about my vision to a few people and have had feed-back that several others have had a similar vision.
I began to think of a race of people, called the Tuatha De Danaan, spoken of in my own Celtic culture. The myth goes that they inhabited Ireland thousands of years ago and one day disappeared into the hills and that they still live in the hills today. There is another similar story I came across about the Priestesses of the mythical Avalon, they too, disappeared into the mists. Perhaps these 'myths' are race memories of another 'age' when those who had raised their vibrations sufficiently, did indeed ascend to a Parallel Earth on a higher vibration or frequency. Quantum physics now tells us of parallel realities and multiple universes.
Could it be that there will be two worlds? Each on different frequencies? Maybe. I do know that we have a choice right now….. LOVE or FEAR. I also believe that the collective and individual pain many of us are experiencing these days is giving us an unequalled opportunity to clear our old karma. We cannot take all that old heavy baggage with us into the higher frequencies of the new world.
Is it all going to happen precisely on 21st of December 2012? Maybe. But more likely it will be gradual, just as Winter gradually turns into Spring and Spring into Summer. But we must be prepared. It is now essential for us to be more loving and to get on the frequency of Love. I truly believe that we are approaching a time of deliverance.
